There are 3 types of C-Werk license: C-Werk Professional, C-Werk Premium and C-Werk Ultra. Upon installation, the software will be launched in C-Werk Viewer mode with all features except archive recording. You should activate C-Werk VMS to utilize the full feature set of the security software package. You can activate the software by distributing an activation key on the system. Data on all the types of C-Werk licenses is presented in the table below.

Information about the type of license you are using is displayed in the Server properties in the Product type field.
Users in the admin role get an informational message to renew the license 30 days or less before it expires.
3—it is necessary to activate the license for the following detection tools:
- Vehicle recognition (IV);
- License plate recognition (VT) (see Licensing of the software module for License plate recognition (VT));
- License plate recognition (IV) (see Configuring License plate recognition (IV)).
