A distributed system based on the C-Werk software package is created within an Domain, i.e., a selected group of C-Werk Servers.

When configuring Domains, the following operations are used in the necessary combinations:

  1. Creating a new domain.
  2. Adding a Server to an existing Domain.
  3. Excluding a Server from the current Domain.

Attention!

You cannot combine regular and Failover Servers within the same Domain (see Configuring Failover VMS).

To configure Domains, you must have the appropriate permissions (see the section Configuring user permissions).

This section gives step-by-step instructions for each operation used in configuring Domains, and then describes typical instances of their use.
