Previous page The Server Object  Configuring an RTSP Server Next page

C-Werk has a built-in ONVIF Server using which C-Werk can be added as a video recorder to other software (for example, Onvif Device Manager (ODM) or Happytimesoft).

To configure the ONVIF Server, do the following:

  1. Install C-Werk 2.0 together with DriverPack 3.73.79 and later.

  2. Shut down the Server (see Shutting down a Server).
  3. Create the NGP_ONVIFSERVER_ENDPOINT system variable (see Appendix 9. Creating system variable). In the Variable value field, field, specify the IP address of the local C-Werk Server.

  4. Start the Server (see Starting a Server).
  5. In the software (for example, Happytimesoft), add the C-Werk Server as a device using the 8081 port.

The ONVIF Server configuration is complete. The software will broadcast the video image from C-Werk in real time.

You can also add the ONVIF Server to another C-Werk Server as an ONVIF generic IP device (see Adding and removing IP devices).

The ONVIF Server will be added to the configuration as an IP server (see The IP Server Object) with corresponding video cameras.
