Archive position selection panel. The archive position selection panel is opened by left-clicking the date above the timeline (see Archive position selection panel for the Web-Client).
Note
You can also navigate in the archive using the time indicator similar to the Client (see Navigation via the time indicator).
You can switch all cameras on the layout to the archive mode. To do this, click the button.
You can control the archive viewing using the playback control panel, the same as when viewing the archive of a single video camera.
When all cameras on the layout are in the archive mode, there is no audio playback. To play back the audio, you need to go to the archive of a single camera.
Access to viewing the archive of a camera depends on the settings of user access permissions to the camera (see Creating and configuring roles). If the user permissions are limited, then:
if you click a camera with limited access to the archive in the multi-camera archive mode, you won’t go to the single-camera archive mode;
if there is only one camera with limited access to the archive on the layout, the buttons for changing the mode (archive, search) won’t be displayed;
if the user is already in the archive mode or in the search in a single camera mode, and selects a camera with limited access to the archive, the user will automatically go to the live view mode for this camera, and the archive/search buttons won’t be displayed.
