Use of C-Werk through a web client takes place remotely, through a web browser and the TCP/IP protocol. Remote video surveillance via a web browser does not require installation of C-Werk.
Important
Opera browser supports Web-client starting from version 15.
In the Windows OS, the Web-client for Safari browser is not supported.
To start the web client:
- Start a web browser.
- In the address bar, type the address of the C-Werk server in the following format: <web server IP address>:<Port>/<Prefix>.
Enter a user name and password for connecting to the C-Werk web server.
The web client interface is then displayed.
To change a user in the Web client, do as follows:
- in the upper-right corner, click the Change user link and
- log in again.
