If the camera has a built-in or pluggable digital input, the Sensor is displayed as a child of the Channel in the object tree. The number of Sensor objects for a video camera is equal to the number of discrete inputs for the camera.
To configure a Sensor object, perform the following:
- Select the Sensor object in the objects tree (1).
Enable the device (2).
Note
When a sensor is enabled, the Channel parent object is automatically enabled.
When you disable all child objects, the Sensor and Relay parent object Channel are also disabled.
- Enter the name of the sensor (3).
- Set the status to which the sensor will be set when no alarm is present.
- Click the Apply button.
The sensor will then be switched to its assigned work mode.
The current status of the sensor is displayed in the Sensor information group.
If a sensor is part of an IP server, the sensor settings allow choosing the video camera of the IP server it will be matched to. When you do this, the sensor object will appear as the child object of the specified camera in the object tree.
