You can create a new floor in two ways: by adding child map or by adding a map as a child.

Adding child map

To add child map, do the following:

  1. Right-click the map and in the map context menu, select the Add child map item.

    Note

You can add a floor to an existing map (see Adding a new map).

  2. Enter the name of the floor (1).
  3. Select the item that will be used as a floor map (2), see Vector maps in C-Werk.

  4. Click the button and select the image (3), which will be used as a graphic plan of the protected area (if the Raster image type is selected). The supported formats: png, jpg, jpeg, jpe, gif and bmp. If no image is selected, a floor with a white background will be created.

    Note

The maximum image size is 4 million pixels (the number of pixels in the resolution 2000x2000). If you select a larger image, the floor will not be created.

  5. If a geo map is used, in the Address field, enter either the address, or the zip code, or the geographical coordinates of the required area on the OpenStreetMap map (for details, see the provider's website) or Google map and click the button. You can scale the floor using the scale slider or the mouse wheel, you can move around the floor in a standard way.
  6. Select the users for whom the floor will be available (4): for everyone, only for the current user (Nobody option), for users of the selected roles (5).
  7. Click the Apply button.
  8. If necessary, repeat steps 1—7, adding a new floor to the last created floor.

The floor is created.

Adding as child map

Attention!

You can only add a map as child to the map that is not part of any map hierarchy, and the added map must also be independent.

To add a map as a child map, do the following:

  1. Right-click the map that you want to add as a child and in the map context menu, select the Add as child map item.
  2. Select the map to which you want to add a map as a child map.
  3. Click the Apply button.

Creating a map as a child map is complete.
