There are 6 types of C-Werk license: C-Werk C-Werk Demo, C-Werk Free,C-Werk Start, C-Werk Proffesional, C-Werk Enterprise and C-Werk Unified. Upon installation, the software will be launched in C-Werk C-Werk Demo mode. You should activate C-Werk VMS to utilize the full feature set of the security software package. You can activate the software by distributing an activation key on the system. Data on all the types of C-Werk licenses is presented in the table below.

Information about the type of license you are using is displayed in the Server properties in the Product type field. Users in the admin role get an informational message to renew the license 30 days or less before it expires. 1—the system will operate in C-Werk Demo mode from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM within 30 days after installation of C-Werk. 2—all VMD-based Scene analytics detection tools are available in C-Werk Free and C-Werk Start licenses, except for the Abandoned object detection (see Setting up VMD-based Scene Analytics detection tools). 3—MomentQuest with metadata search from the base VMD is available in C-Werk Start and C-Werk Free licenses. It is not possible to determine the object type and color based on metadata from VMD. 4—it is necessary to activate the license for the following detection tools:
