You can use analytics from Grundig (Configuring Scene Analytics Detection Tools) on Axis devices.

Note

This option is available for all Axis devices on the following hardware platforms:

  • MIPS (ARTPEC-4 and ARTPEC-5 CPUs),
  • ARMv7 (ARTPEC-6 and ARTPEC-7 CPUs).

All CPU heavy analytics and metadata generation tasks are delegated to the camera in this case. 

To do this:

  1. Go to the device's web interface. 
  2. Select the Setup menu (1) → Applications (2).

  3. Select the ACAP application (3) and click the Upload Package button (4).

    Attention!

    For application, contact Grundig. You will be given a license code that you must register along with camera's MAC address on Axis website in order to get the license file.

  4. Go to Grundig Tracker menu (1) → License (2).
  5. Select the license file (3).
  6. Click the Install button (4).
  7. Go to Applications, select the installed application (1).
  8. Click the Start button (2).
  9. In C-Werk, create the Grundig onboard tracker object for the corresponding camera.

  10. Configure the tracker and create the required detection tools.

    Note

    You can configure the Grundig onboard tracker object similar to General information on Scene Analytics detection tools.

    You cannot configure perspective for solution based on Axis devices.
