To initiate an alarm event manually, do the following:

  1. In the lower-left corner of the Surveillance window, click the button.

  2. The operation will initiate an alarm event that will be displayed on the Alert panel (see Alert panel). To assess an alarm event, click the button again.

    Note

    • When in the Alarm Management mode, the user who initiated the alarm event will be displayed at the bottom of the Surveillance window.
    • An alarm event initiated manually has a medium priority.

Manual initiation of an alarm event is now complete.
