You can stop writing on a certain volume of the archive. In this case, the data previously written to it will be available for viewing.

To do this, set the Read only checkbox and click the Apply button.

Note

This setting may be useful when you need to replace the disk if it has some bad sectors, but there shouldn’t be any "gaps" in the archive.

In this case, you should add a volume to the archive on a new disk and set the volume on the damaged disk to the Read only mode.
