When working with the object presence detection tool, the following camera requirements should be met:

  1.  It is recommended to use color cameras. If you use black and white cameras, the recognition quality may be noticeably worse.

  2. The video resolution should be at least 640x360 pixels.

  3. The frame rate: the FPS determines the speed of the detection tool reaction. In most cases, the default value (1 time per 10 seconds) is enough to detect the appearance of an object, which lasts more than 1 minute.

  4. The minimum area of the object in the frame depends on the used neural network.

  5. The object must be visually separated from the background.

Attention!

If you set a rectangular recognition area for the detection tool, the above requirements apply to this area, not to the entire frame (see Configuring the object presence detection tool).
