The C-Werk software package enables you to work with virtual sensors. This involves triggering a virtual sensor and producing a virtual sensor event  / alarm in the VMS. When triggered, the virtual sensor status switches  - Closed / Open.

To create and configure a virtual sensor, complete the following steps:

  1. Run IP Device Discovery Wizard (see Adding and removing IP devices).
  2. In the form for manually adding an IP device, select  HttpListener in the Vendor drop-down list (1).
  3. In the Port field, specify the port number that will be used sensor status queries (2).
  4. Click the  button

The IP Server object is automatically created to host 4 virtual sensors.

Attention!

For a virtual sensor to work correctly, please do as follows: use the Open circuit.

You can configure virtual sensors in the same way as real ones.  Also you can specify the time-out when virtual sensors reset their status in the Alarm ExpirationTime field of the IP Server object.

Note

It ranges from 0 to 100.

Note

This setting is applied only after you disable and enable the sensor again.
