If you have permissions, the Objects Panel displays cameras from all Servers in the Domain, as well as their sensors and relays.

Note

If the Client is connected to several Domains, you can see cameras from all Domains according to your permissions.

The Objects Panel is located on the left side of the monitor and is hidden by default. To open this panel, click the button in the upper left corner of the screen.

Note

To open the Objects Panel on an additional monitor (see Monitor management), click the Object tree button on the left side of the screen.

The objects tree on the Objects Panel can be represented as:

When you click on a layout name in the object tree, the corresponding layout is selected from the list. When you click on the camera name, if it is absent on the current layout, the layout with the selected camera will open.

There are two display modes for the camera selected on the panel:

  1. The camera cell is displayed in the existing layout (default mode, to open it click ).
  2. A temporary layout with a camera cell is created (to open it click ).

The display mode toggle buttons are located in the lower left corner of the screen. The selected display mode is saved until the client is restarted.

If the camera connection is lost, it will be highlighted in red on the Objects Panel.

If you select a camera on the panel, it will be the same as if you selected a camera on the video camera search panel (see Camera Search Panel).

Note

To search for objects inside the panel, use the search bar, same as the search panel for video cameras (see Camera Search Panel).

If you specify the search query in the search bar, then the Objects Panel will display only those cameras that match the search conditions (see Camera Search Panel).

On the Objects panel, the cameras can be sorted either by name or short name (see Configuring camera sorting on Objects Panel).

To lock the panel, click the  button in the lower left corner. Click the  button to unlock the panel.

You can resize the Objects Panel. To do this, left-click on the right border of the panel and drag it to the right or left.

To hide the panel, click the  button.
