You can work with C-Werk via the Web-Client remotely using a web browser and the TCP/IP communication environment. Remote video surveillance via a web browser doesn't require installation of C-Werk.

To start and log in to the Web-Client, do the following:

  1. Start a web browser.
  2. In the address bar, enter the address of the C-Werk Web-Server in the following format: <Web-Server IP address>:<Port>/<Prefix>.

    Attention!

    • The Server URL is case-sensitive. It is necessary to enter the URL exactly in the letter case specified in the settings (see Configuring the Web Server).
    • A connection via the secure HTTPS protocol will be automatically established, if the Web-Server is configured accordingly (see Configuring the Web-Server).

  3. Enter a login and password to connect to the C-Werk Web-Server.

    Note

If you try to log in with an invalid login and password, an error message will be displayed.

After five failed log in attempts, the user is blocked for 10 minutes.

As a result, the Web-Client interface will be displayed. By default, the first listed layout will be displayed. If there are no layouts, the Cameras panel will open on the left and the video image from the first listed video camera will be displayed.
