Please follow these recommendations for proper fire and smoke detection:
- Use color cameras. With black and white cameras, the detection quality can be noticeably worse.
- The video resolution must be at least 640x480.
- The area of smoke / fire must be at least 10% of the area of the frame.
Note
Fire is detected at a distance of 20 meters with a fire size of at least 20 * 30 pixels.
