Users who have the necessary rights can remotely manage video walls on Clients that are connected to any Server on an C-Werk-domain (see the Creating and configuring roles section).

The following operations are available:

  1. Create a video wall on the remote Client.
  2. Change layout on the video wall.
  3. Delete video wall.

To create a video wall on a remote Client, click the monitor arrangement for the Client on the management panel (see the Video wall management panel section) and select an unassigned monitor.

Note.

Remote Clients are listed by their NetBios names.

The Video Wall creation procedure is identical for remote and local Clients (see Managing video walls of a local Client).

The selected monitor will display a video wall with the layout that is currently displayed on the local Client.

To change the layout on a video wall of a remote Client:

  1. On the local Client, select a layout (see the Layouts section).
  2. Click the monitor arrangement of the remote Client and then the image of the video wall.

The layout is now displayed on the video wall of the remote Client.

Note.

The layout on the main monitor of a remote Client is changed in the same way.

If a single camera is displayed on the remote Client's video wall, you can switch to another camera by selecting it through the local Client.

To delete a video wall on a remote Client, click the button on the image of the video wall.
