To add a new map, do the following:

  1. Do one of the following four actions:

    1. In the lower-left part of the screen, click the button.
    2. Click the button to open the context menu of the layouts panel and select the Add map item.
    3. Right-click the empty background of the map, from the map context menu, select the Add new map item.
    4. Select a camera from the list on the cameras panel with a mouse cursor and, while holding down the mouse button, move the cursor to the empty map background and then release the mouse button. The action is available, if no maps have been created in the system.

  2. Enter the name of the map (1).

  3. Select what will be used as a map (2, see Vector maps in C-Werk):

    1. Raster or vector image.
    2. Google:
      1. Google Map;
      2. Google Hybrid;
      3. Google Satellite.
    3. OpenStreetMap.
  4. If you select the Raster or vector image type of the map, click the button and select the image (3) that will be used as a graphic plan of the protected territory.

    Note

    • The maximum image size is 4 million pixels (the number of pixels at 2000x2000 resolution). If a larger image is selected, the map won't be created.
    • If the image isn't selected, a map with a white background will be created.

    Supported formats:

    1. Raster image: PNG, JPG, JPEG, JPE, GIF, BMP.

    2. Vector image: SVG.
  5. If you use a geomap, in the Address field (6), enter the address, or zip code, or geographical coordinates of the required territory on the Google map or OpenStreetMap and click the button. You can scale the map with the scale slider or the mouse wheel, you can move on the map in the common way.

  6. Select the users for whom the map will be available (4):
    1. Any user.
    2. Not sharedonly for the current user.
    3. Rolesfor the users of the selected roles (5).
  7. Click the button. To cancel adding a map, click the button.

Adding a map is complete.
