The Axxon Next C-Werk software package enables you to work with virtual sensors. This involves triggering a virtual sensor and producing a virtual sensor event  / alarm in the VMS. When triggered, the virtual sensor status switches  - Closed / Open.

1. Run IP Device Discovery Wizard (see Adding and removing IP devices).
2. In the form for manually adding an IP device, select  AxxonSoftHttpListener in the Vendor drop-down list (1).

3. In the Model field, select HttpListener (2).In the Port field, specify the port number that will be used sensor status queries (32).
4. Click the  button

The IP Server object is automatically created to host 4 virtual sensors.
