  1. In the Log file location field (1), enter the full path to the directory in which you want to place the log archives. To set the path using standard Windows methods, click theImage Removed buttonthe button.

  2. In the Archive logs every field (2), enter the interval for system log archiving in hours.
  3. In the Maximum file size for archiving field (3), set the size of the log file in megabytes (3). When the specified size is reached, the logs are archived.
  4. In the Storage time field (4), set the maximum time of storing a log in the archive in days, after which the log is deleted.
  5. In the Maximum archive size (including dumps) field (5), set the maximum size of the archive, above which the earliest logs are deleted from the archive.

    Archive size limitations take priority over log storage time limitations. For example, the earliest logs will be automatically deleted even if their storage time hasn't expired, if the archive size has exceeded the maximum value. If it is not necessary to impose any limitations on log storage time and/or archive size, clear the corresponding checkboxes in the Log archiving options group.


  6. Click the OK button (6) to save the changes.
