  1. Set a time interval for your search (see Setting a search interval).
  2. Select the detector from the list (1), by which you want to search.
  3. Enter the number plate (2). Fuzzy search supported if you enter the number with the ? mask for any one character, and the * mask for any number of characters) For example, a search query ?20* will show all vehicles with license plate containing 2 and 0 in the second and third position respectively. The total number of characters in number plates will be variable.

  4. If necessary, set additional search criteria by clicking the button:

    To search by additional criteria, the Vehicle recognition option should be enabled in the License plate recognition (RR) settings (see see Configuring License plate recognition (RR)).

    1. Select the Vehicle class (3) from the drop-down list:
      1. Car;
      2. Truck;
      3. Bus;
      4. Motorcycle;
      5. Mini truck;
      6. Unknown.
    2. Vendor (4): enter full name of the car manufacturer in Latin letters, case-insensitive. Correct spelling examples: Mitsubishi, Nissan, Hyundai.
    3. Model (5): enter full name of the car model in Latin letters, case-insensitive. Correct spelling examples: Outlander, Teana, Creta.

    4. Color (6): set the color of the vehicle (see Configuring object color).
    5. Select the Vehicle headlights (7) state from the drop-down list:
      1. Unknown;
      2. Enabled;
      3. Disabled.
    6. Vehicle speed (8): in the From and To fields, set the vehicle speed range depending on the unit of measurement selected in the Speed detection field in the detection tool settings (see Configuring License plate recognition (RR)):
      1. Kmph: possible range from 0 to 450.

      2. Mph: possible range from 0 to 280.

    7. Vehicle direction (9): select the vehicle direction from the drop-down list:
      1. Unknown — the vehicle's direction is not recognized;
      2. Incoming — the vehicle is moving towards the camera;
      3. Outgoing — the vehicle is moving away from the camera.

  5. Click the Search button.

    Once launched, the search can be stopped at any time. To do this, click the Stop button which appears instead of the Search button.
