  1. Specify the general parameters for an archive volume (see Creating a cloud archive).
  2. Specify the region of the archive volume storage (1) that is set when you create a cloud storage via Amazon web interface. To reduce delays when writing and reading the archive, it is necessary to specify the nearest region to the C-Werk Server in Amazon web interface.   3. Specify the name of the archive partition in the Amazon S3 (bucket) account (2). Different volumes can be located in different regions. On the Amazon S3 Server, the volume name must be unique and must be previously created by the user using the following rules to work in C-Werk (see https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/bucketnamingrules.html).

  4. Specify the access key id (3). You must sign in to create access keys—https://console.aws.amazon.com/iam/home#/security_credentials$access_key.
  5. Specify the password of the access key (4).

  6. Specify the path to the folder of the C-Werk volume inside the partition (bucket) (5).
  7. To test the connection of the archive volume, click the Test connection button (6).
  8. Click the Apply button.
