To assign hot keys:

1. Select the Settings ->Options ->Hot keys tab (1-2).
   
2. In the list, select the device for which you want to configure hot keys (3).
3. Select the mode for which you want to configure hot keys (4, see Introduction to hot keys in C-Werk).
4. To assign a shortcut to a specific action:

   1. Double-click the current shortcut assigned to the action (5). The field is now cleared.

      For some actions in Global mode, you cannot change the default hot keys.

   2. Press the key/key combination/joystick button to assign to the action. 

      If the field is left empty, no hot key will be assigned to the action.

5. Assign hot keys for all actions of interest.
6. Click the Apply button.

Assignment of hot keys is now complete.
