To export a frame, click the button when viewing the video image.

Note

Users without export access rights won't have the access to the icon, as well as the possibility to select the export interval on the timeline (see Creating and configuring roles).

To export video image, do the following:

  1. Switch to the archive mode (see Viewing video archives through the Web-Client).
  2. On the timeline, set the timeline indicator to the location that matches the beginning of the export interval. Click the button. Set the indicator to the location that matches the end of the export interval. Click the button.

  3. Click the button.

    Note

    To delete the export interval, click the button.

  4. Select the video export format. If necessary, add comments to the export. You can export videos to the AVI, MKV, MP4 and EXE formats. The comments will be displayed as captions when the exported video is played back.

    Note

    In macOS, you can export to the AVI, MKV, MP4 formats. Files with the .exe extension are not supported in this OS.

  5. If you are exporting to the AVI format, select the compression level. Low levelminimum compression, maximum file size; High levelmaximum compression, minimum file size.

  6. Click the EXPORT button.

The export progress is displayed on the drop-down panel as in the Client (see Viewing export progress).

When the export is complete, the panel color changes to green.
To download an exported file, click its name on the panel.

Note

The text of the timestamp in the exported video will depend on the language selected in the browser.
